ticktockticktock... time is running out and the exams are drawing near!! while things just seem to move on without us, its still impt to stop short and take a actualization-realization check:

were you remotely aware of these...

1) its all over the newspapers. Natural disasters have struck one after another, in our neighbouring countries. Just because Singapore was blessed enough doesnt mean there isnt death and pain going on around us. and we thought exams were terrible.

2)seen the fine lines on our parents faces lately? ever considered that while time is flyin fast for us, what more for them? are we behaving correctly towards them, for bringing us up..and not jus earthly parents; even God. lately theres alot of distractions & falterings..

3)when was the last time we did something good, and not for our own sake or benefit?

and finally
4)when were you last happy?

its really sad to say i realized i've been easily affected by things goin on ard me, ppl's emotions passed onto me, responsibilities that i lost joy in doing.

OH WHY SO DOWNCAST MY SOUL? BUILD ME UP to be more than i am..
i will not bow down to circumstances, but fall on my knees only to honour my Lord.

Its seems lately, with my signing up for GREAT EASTERN WOMEN 10K and 2 last min surprise tix frm jerio (thanks man!), i've been getting lotsa goodie bags. And in all manner of aunti-ism, i'm more than thrilled. :)

First, this GREAT EASTERN first 1,000 exclusive bag.
Went early with Brenda, Marianne and Shannon,
hoping to swipe goodies. Fellow comrades of aunti-hood.
so we got this bag, consisting of:
a crystal studded breast cancer metal pin,
exclusive SPA voucher worth $160,
FILA bottle (absent frm photo, dunno where my mum put),
One-A-Day Bayer MultiVit (i read its ingredients. powerful),
Sony Erisson Walkman vouchers and
a Pink Feathered Pen.

Now, sorting thru these items, i know its either use or throw. but one item left me baffled. what the heck can i do with it?? it was..the pink mao mao pen.

or i could pass it to my fairy-feathery- DOG-mother.

NATIONAL DAY PREVIEW!!
Happy Birthday Singapore!

so here we are- me and the 26yr old boy, so excited over his 2nd time at NDP :) yes, it was hot like a sauna..and the crowds, and motivators screaming & shouting just got more frowns coming out on ppl's faces. luckily, we didnt have to wait too long before the show kickstarted.

as usual, there were the Red Lion skydivers, the same story of Sang Nila Utame and the display of Singapore's finest frm the Civil Def, Navy, Army and Police. But this year, it revolved round a storyline, plus the video montage was really gd, especially the part where many lil kids told of their future ambitions: teachers, doctors, lawyers, artists. gd luck to the last boy, who wanted to be the President!

but when it got to the fireworks part,after the national anthmn, it started pouring!! and jere's bag didnt have the raincoat..so it was one poncho for two of us..but then we gave it up to the lady and her little daughter, who also didnt have ponchos in their bags. whoever packed the packed was probably doing a slipshot job!

it was recorded in history; the only time when it rained during a parade was 1968. this was the 2nd time. so technically, we're part of a new history now. whoopee.

anyway, one pathetic umbrella didnt suffice and we were soaked. well jere was drenched cos he decided there was no pt in both of us getting wet and heroically walked in the rain. but he got home and coughed like mad...so much for playin hero. =p

HAPPY BDAY CAILING!! :) yesterday was a great night of seeing familiar faces and catching up,

tmr i'll be leaving for kota kinnabalu! wooh, snorkelling, treking and white water rafting..hmhmm.

they'd start off with an endless carousel of butt sniffing.

they'd be pulling off some judo stance to determine who's the alpha dog.

At home, Marley would be half eating my sofa, and Anouva would be lizard-tunnelling under it.

well, in an attempt to flee loneliness, i took the chance to convert my place into a law proj retreat, and meet up with my chipmunks.

and i bet, both Marley and Anouva would have a good go at the law lecturer. dumb law project.

First time celebrating Valentines Day 'attached'.
First time i didn't wake up and wonder:
"If there's a someone for everyone, where is my someone?".
Last year i rmb i wrote something like
'maybe my prince got lost & refused to ask for directions.', well, jere's directions kinda suck.
But Amen, he finally got here, in my life <3.
First time i could thanked God for sharing this love with us on this day & being with me thru my previous years.

okay, dishing the main course.
Dinner reservations at Serenity, Vivo. Oh the whole 'love-is-in-the-air' ambience,
if you cant beat it, then might as well join it.
Our table had rose petals forming the shape of a heart, well, it might have withstood a few couples' dates, cause the petals looked kinda dry. but yes presentation points, all the same.

There was a live singing by a philipino lady dressed in white with angel wings,
and a Spanish senorita who took to the stage doing Fuego, a spanish flamenco-meets-belly-dance. She got some customers to go up and dance, which was an eye opener.
Good for the funny bone too, seeing uncles step on each others' toes.
Did you know my name has Spanish heritage? Yyeessarrhh.

We had this rich Mexican seafood platter; each mouth of rice carried strong seafood flavour,
i suspect its just added creme, unless they really simmered the rice in seafood essence.
they were really generous with the salt, plus there was pepperoni too,
so i wouldnt recommend weak kidneys to go for it.

Proceeded to catch 'A curious case of Benjamin Button'. Ai, look.
Its got a deep meaning, like big life picture deep.
Caution: Not for action seekers, not for visual ppl, you gotta be an audiohouse.
Avoid if you didnt have enough sleep.
Avoid if you think there's alot of steamy scenes. its not enough.
at the end of it, you either walk away taking something frm it, like me,
or walk away feeling cheated cause you paid to slp in the cinema, like *i cant say who*.

i struggled to stay awake on the ride back. Jerry, i might have undersaid this but:
" Thank God you have access to a car."
i wouldnt want to fall asleep sprawled on the mrt cabin.

anyway, i guess many of us endure CNY with the same mixed pleasure and agony.

Agony from forcing plastic smiles at relatives who question ur roots & bloodline to validate the $4 hongbao.
Plus all the brutal questions frm those deemed 'concerned' abt the ur future, and the path u're taking in life.
Best of all, Cantonese are well known critics,
giving comments on lousy pineapple tarts to horrid dress sense to other aunties geting fat, without lookin at their own expandin waistlines.
ALL IN PEIRCING, HIGH PITCHED CANTONESE. take this times 13 grammaa + aunties, hell would seem quiet.
(what am i doing getting attached to another cantonese?!)

speaking of which V.S. screened last night!
my secret is that i religiously catch it every year possible, because
1) the lingerie collection is to-die-for dazzling, yet impossibly out of reach
2) the models are stunning, curvaciously gorgeous and a whole lotta fun
3) guests perfomers are usually sexy, sleek crooners like J.T and Usher
and
4) the whole show motivates you to get up and achieve that hot bod hidden somewhere beneath.

so anyways, here are a few personal favourites. and my V.S. angel is Miranda Kerr! and her beau is Orlando Bloom! *faints* life of the gorgeous.

Lingerie is a woman's celebration of her God given assets. For normals girls like Brenda & me, we make-do with Cotton On's collections. HAHA!
but oh, if you do get me the V.S. collection, i'd gladly model it! ;p

the aeroplane, eh take off, on the Wednesday night. 330 am go airport neh. NA-TEH! means i wake up 230 am! ( japanese gasp!)

first time going japan. Watashi excited, but also worry. Be-couse we taking japan train to travel. Very many people squeeze together neh. Watashi claustrophobic ah. But my Hahaoya say 'this time no go, next time no more time go.' So i go. First time see snow. ekisaitingu!

a November to Remember

Plaza Sing, Astons.

Lunch with her fellow Chipmunks and Jc bestie. Played pool and had interesting ice creams for desserts. It was living the days of carefree past, of not needing to grow up and bother with reality. She knew these are the friends that would stay by her side, no matter how far apart they were. Laughter filled the day through.

Marina Square, K-Box.

There was a lot of secrecy until the actual day. Everyone kept it hushed and she had no idea what to expect, only being told it would ‘exceed expectations’.

Sweet, layered surprises awaited, with cards, a cd, 20 of her favourite blue roses, a crown-cross bracelet, kick ass leather jacket and his live rendition of ‘Always be my Baby’. Honestly, it was overwhelming and beyond description. Everyone was singing, dancing, going crazy, basking in the fun and running on each other’s energy. Plus there was a perfect ending to the day. They went back to the place of their first night together, and were seated on the exact same table. Was it coincidence or reservations by Cupid? Desserts & car ride before heading home-what more could a girl ask for?

It was truly a day where God arranged the itinery for them. No prior reservations were allowed yet everything worked itself out. Bowling contributed to people getting high on scores and him being surprised by some unexpected faces. They were given the Otari VIP room and indeed, Waraku entertained with sumptuous delicacies for the occasion. Some proceeded on to the Bazaar for Club 21 sale and got a couple of outrageous bargains. Lotsa photographs marked this day and much more well wishes showered by many.

A simple affair with self service teppanyaki at home. A splendid spread of food and a lot of butter basically equals to a hearty meal that feeds more than just hungry tummies. But more awaited. His cell members had gathered at his place, with a song they wrote and cake.they had planned it out and got her in the act. The moment he left her house, she too, left for his place. Whats there to say, it was a successful surprise. People who care for each other, and those he cared for, affirming him in their lives. She just took in everything she saw, and smiled cause this was the reason why it had to be him.

Time passes so quickly when we're all together, it would seem that only forever would be sufficient.

And we would gladly spend eternity in Your Courts, because if it hadnt been for You Lord, then life would not have been life worthwhile.

By some miracle we have survived the four exams and well, the deed is sealed so lets just have faith and pray for he best. it felt so good hanging out after the last day of exams. Not having the worry of time, of iminient exams, nothing. just free fall into the arms of relaxation and submerge myself in simple happiness.

i was alil down cos the starhub job at raffles uob starts tmr, but considering tt cai had to start on wed, i should consider myself lucky for havin wed-sun to rest. not to mention everyday was jam packed with activities.

thur- House Bunny with lynne and jere. arcade, bowling, & a new dress! thanks a bunch!:)
fri- slacking at jere's to watch dvds while lynne abused his laptop.
sat- cleaning in the morn then bowlin wth my family n the bf. 192. wow. i am gd.
sun (today)- svc at riverlife. hei sushi for lunch. (i dont recommend it. too little portion. too expensive) then back home, cleaned up the messed from the storm residue in my room thanks to an opened window, which in turn, is thanks to the sister. THANKS ALOT! then uploaded facebk photos and successful only upon 3rd attempt.

its 2130 and the rest of the human family aint back. the canine family member is too bored to care, and i'm tired. still gotta pack for the job tmr. hopefully i find some gd place to lunch. and some gd ppl to lunch with. loneliness leave me! give me peace! right. sleep now.

Its not good to hide things, i'll tell the people whom this post is meant for. And i hope u all understand its out of love that the rest of us are so concerned. otherwise those who dont give two shitnits abt how u end up arent even qualified to be called ur friends.

When will things ever cross 'the limit'? How in life do we juggle the balance? Do we just let ourselves fall into the arms of temptation only to awake fighting ourselves to justify our actions? Why push the blame around if we arent out there during the scene itself? What good does blowing up at geniuine friends do, besides all the disembattered body parts?

This doesnt apply only to clubbing, but daily life, how we think, speak, act infront of each other and outsiders. When we say different things in front of different people, when we act one way and believe some other. Surely these are the falterings of Mankind alike. so all those guilty raise ur hands with me, and say 'God forgive me, sometimes, i know not what i do.'

i feel so ripped off by Red Cliff, now i have to re support the box office just to watch the ending. but war tactics are cool bananas. never thought of Zhu Geliang being a Han time heart throb.

ooo got story to share!

there was a farmer who had 2 pots.

He would carry these pots to draw water from a well.

On the way back, one of them always leaked.

After a long time, the pot felt ashamed of its weakness.

It told its master: 'I'm sorry i'm so useless.

i only deliver a quarter pot of water home.'

But its master replied: 'Even so, i will still carry you.

You will see the reason why tmr.'

The next day, on the way back the Master told the leaking pot:

'Look at the path we take home everyday.

See how while one side is barren, one has wild flowers growing?

Do you know each day, its because of ur leakage

that these flowers get watered?'

the moral of the story is that

no matter what weaknesses you possess,

God can make use of you, even if you're a cracked pot.

no matter wad, no one is ever alone. that thru all circumstance, there are miracles awaiting to happen. and at the end of the day, life is worth living cos someone loves you. i mean hello, God is like the mega someone. and He loves u the way u are. that's a big deal k. :)

LATEST NEWS ALERT: I’m ending work at nkf on the 17th June! I’m gonna miss everyone there =( its really crazy times with all the funky happenings now and then, I mean which company celebrates each employees’ birthdays, and heads out for lunch like a sch excursion plus even the boss is lame. But they’re all great genuine people who have one way or another touched my life and I’m just blessed that God placed me in a place that goes beyond just work and colleagues to almost another family. Well all good things come to an end, so cheers to all my mates there! Being and learning with you all was truly a great step in my life journey.

Jeff’s party was great! Awaiting photos from Jasmine- the jumping shots of Jas Cai Su En Po Brenda and me had us lookin like flying dumbies and laughin til we cramped! Thanks goes out to Jeff who let us wreck his place inside out and ruin the sanctity of his sacred bed, and Ethan for the Vodkas and whoever else for the Baileys. Beneath everything, I really enjoy being with my SIM brother + sista hood cos u always know that these are the people who look out for you and are willing to go the extra mile. Sweet =)

After another round of miscomms, only Jourd, Janice, Lyn & me went ahead for the Fish Spa. And there’s absolutely no regret, seeing how smooth my feet are now. Ha. No doubt the mrt rides felt like forever, Chua Chu Kang is nearing the outer space part of Singapore, but the free shuttle bus was pretty tardy. It felt like an excursion, and I’ve missed that kind of anticipation; feeling like a small kid with a new aspect of the world to discover. Aren’t we all? Reminiscence. Coolness.

Toured around the place laughing at some quirky types of fishes, and there’re fish species that remind me of Fab and Randy. Highlight of the day was the spa, where the fishes ate the dead skin cells off our feets. Its kinda like a tingling sensation when the hordes of small fishes had their skin cells buffet, but when the bigger sized fishes started coming, thats when you can feel those suckers really servicing your feet. Jourdan kept most of the fishes preoccupied, apparently the fishes sucked until his skin tore and bled. Eee. Janice was afraid of the big fishes, kept taking her legs out when the big ones came ard. Lyn n I took awhile to get use to it, at the start we were making a lot of funny noises cos it was uber ticklish! HA! Definitely worthy of a return trip. Gotta bring the rest next time!

Hallelujah! i am officially retired from taka giftwrappin nun hood! gone are the aching feet and swollen fingers from paper cuts and scotch tape dispenser bites. no more lonely lunches or dinner. special thanks and lotsa love to those who visited to accompany us for meals =) touched. we really deserve a good rest so cai and i have an ultimate plan: slack our lives away! no lah, poor girls need to find another job..which leaves me in a dilemma..

-Taka is calling us back for cashiering 23-25 may. for the kenzo n shisedo sales.
-Part time bowling coach thing which i'm not sure how serious i can see thru it cos i'll probably be playin with the kids.

And what better way to live it up than..well .. doing what we are! I cant even remember the details of what the brother + sista hood did, but it’s the company that matters =) Tuesday was Suki Buffet, bowling and definitely, maybe night. That movie is kinda sweet, especially the lil girl. I wanna have my own lil girl too; lyn’s past the ‘little girl’ phase. So, are u an ‘Emily’, ‘Summer’ or maybe, ‘April’? I guess we’ll just be happy being ourselves.

Wednesday was our NIGHT SAFARI adventure, with Brenda Su En Jeff Jere Jourd n Janice. Jourd dressed like a lil boy scout, bag pack and berms, totally unlike his Young and Dangerous style. So basically, night safari is more than jus a ‘night zoo’, it really tests your eye power to spot the animals. We saw so many Randy and Clarence look-alikes. Fascinatingggggg. Its nice seeing the girls squirm at the smallest things, its even nicer freaking them out. Loved the bat compound, all the jest abt how after a bat bites you u become Batman. Honestly I wouldnt mind; bite me, make me a vigilante! The tram ride was pretty enchanting, with the darkness, sounds and smells. But no animals coming up to chomp ur hands off though. What a waste.

Movin to Thurs slacking at Jere’s place for Jourd’s bdae! Werent u TOUCHED Jourd?? Haha. Sealed with a prezzie and a kiss on the bdae card frm his darling jere. Awws. And Camo whoring as usual. The sistas. The guys. The gayness and my stint wif Suen *muaks. Jourd said it was a new revelation seeing me do something like that. Getting all the wrong vibes? Haha. DUDES next round of chalet, bring CONTRA!! GAME ON man!!

ECP. sunday afternoon. me. blading.

to all u muggertoads, studies isnt everything! i know cos i had forsaken it to swim yesterday and go blading w mum n dad tis afternoon.

the original plan was family picnic w the grands n relatives, but then it poured in the morn. so the location was changed. my mum's so funny, the moment the sun came back out she had to satisfy the burning urge to blade. rie and lyn are easily contented with a novel and ds. since even dad was bladin i decided to join em. OHMYgoodness, my old man can blade better than me sia.

i'll bet no one can look as glam as me walking BAREFOOT at East Coast Park. well here's the story. bladin is not really my thing. i am still in noob level. my first fall was crossing a hump. the major one was down precipitious slope. actually i managed to conquer it, kness bent and lookin much like a robotic penguin, but then there was this gap. and BAM. landed on my butt when all the guards were meant for landin infrnt. not very clever. and the abrasion friggin ripped a hole in my pants. right at..there. T.T so pai seh. and i had to walk back to the car, with the hole, and barefoot cos i refused to wear those boots again. but well, i dun mind bladin and fallin, as compared to MUGGIN. urghh.

i give thanks to the Lord, i love my family. mummy is hot and happening whereas dad is one cool banana. lyn is so pretty and potentially perky.but i wanna be there and mould her character. rie is always there for me. even with all the cynism, she remains true. Comm Law test is finally over. So over-rated! Got a terrible blister cause Fiona jack ivan and I ran in late. In our hurry, we mistook the lecturer for the security guard! Well, blame his fashion sense. BUT I really respect his awesome-ness when he teaches. ALL CONCEPTS JUST GET THROUGH- instant ENLIGHTENMENT!! plus he’s hilarious!

It was happening at the pub cos our gang was the biggest and the exclusivity was cool. Free mixers, with Chivas. I got to play pool! Wooh! Haven’t held a cue for uber long. due to the SUDDEN DEATH of my laptop i've failed to blog about all the exciting things that happened thru Jan 08.

soon, the 4th wk will be over and we'll dive into Chinese New Year. I'm happy with my new RED highlights, but i think i got conned of afew more strips behind.not to mention my prev brown champagne highlight got a new dash of life after the treatment so its RED AND BROWN.my head feels like a canvas with abstract art.

08' School's IN!

Without knowing, we’ve already got SMACKED in the faces by BDEFT Sem 2. It was fun goin back to school, meeting up with the Brother + Sista hood in FULL FORCE J. And DON’T DENY, everyone commits the crime of checking out everyone else- how they’ve changed, seeing people TRY to outdress and impress each other on the first day.

Well, my first day was kinda cool cos the sistas took their independence one notch up. We navigated thru the urban jungle of Holland V without relying on the guys. Didn’t even need a LORRY, TAKE BUS CAN ALREADY. Ha. But we’re already over it, magnanimous much.

Day 2 and 3 were the WHITE rebellion and BROWN color code days. Adds more spunk to normal sch. Why not choose certain days for themes? Thanks Cai and Jas who travelled far and wide with me in search of a perfect wallet, though it was to no avail. Darn Guess stores left with a few pathetic pieces. Nvrmd, will wait for Renoma Sale =)

Ever since I got back from HORSE RIDIN jn JB, my gift wrapping job at taka started.

HORSE RIDDIN was quite a cool experience, where else do u get to ride horses besides in the Singapore Zoo?? The horses are really gorgeous, their coat is great for stroking. Plus we got to lead, walk and trot. Tones the thighs too, cause I was worried I might fall off during the trotting so I kiap-ed the saddle super tightly. I mean, there’s nothing else to hold onto, and the reins are moving, ur butt is going up and down, the stir up is hanging, EVERYTHING is just rhythm! Right rhythm makes you look good, wrong rhythm gives blue blacks on ur butt cheeks. Thanks Mich, for roping me in =) my roomie for 2 nights, I cant believe I actually showered with u.

Wrappin is seriously detrimental to our fingers- the horrendously sticky double sided tape causes DRY SKIN, the wrapping paper makes us susceptible to paper cuts and the scotch tape holder’s cutter is a jagged edge sword. But its nice when ppl come visit, like Chyi, Fab, Clarence, Silvest & NingZi . Working with all the other girls is fun, cause there’s never a lonely time. And Cai and Cindy have taught me loads of useful tips, like scanning the next customer’s presents to wrap- if it’s a BIG BOMB, we’ll slow down wrapping speed and try to AVOID. Plus all the crapping abt disgusting customers, those who keep requesting for EXTRA paper, EXTRA ribbons, EXTRA cards, even when their gifts are teensy. But gossip destroys, I should cut down abit. Oops.

Alvin and the Chipmunks finally got to go out! YEAH! We went to our ‘meeting place’- Suntec Cottage Waffles, the Waffles there are drool-icious, they smell good and taste GREAT, plus it comes with icecream and chocolate fondue, all at affordable prizes. Then Arcade, Mario Racing!! Wooh! We had a budget dinner and ended off with Coffee Club Mudpie, then went to Esplanade rooftop for a starless star gazing. Dotz. I think when its us 3, I juz feel like I don’t need to grow up.

LIVE HEALTHY week! Mon was swimming at Randy’s Carribean Palace. Cute water slide feature. It was such a waste that I had to rush off- no time to thrash em at foosball. HA. Poor Cai got burnt after 5 mins.

Tues was Badminton with Jas Cai Fab Clare Jeff. All that running aroundleft us sweating, sticky and salty like salted fish. But perspiring’s GOOD! It helps purges pores! The session however, left us half sore and nearly paralyzed the next day. Nevermind, take joy in the pain ppl, no pain no gain!

Indeed my God is Everlasting, His Grace is bountiful and abundant. Cai called while I was moppin the floor at 1 plus pm ..the RESULTS for BDEFT exams were out! My main worry was the super screwed up Acctg Fin Stat A. cos NONE of my 3 qns balanced out. *GASP* so I prayed:

GOD, for tmr’s results, give me wad I deserve..WAIT. erh, give me wad I DON’T DESERVE because I am Your child, favoured by You and blessed greatly. Amen.

~i juz wanna soak up the sun

the brother+sista hood finally hit SENTOSA for a day of underthesunfun!!
The day started off beautifully, cos i knew lynne would be estatic cos a) she's ponning sch and b) she hasnt been to sentosa for 6 yrs, poor deprived girl!
met darlings cai and jas and they were just the sweetest angels, out of nowhere WHOOSH there was a magnificent bouquet of blue roses. my heart melted. =) three lil perfect roses, made me beam like a nutcase on the train.
went to vivo to meet the bros jeff fab silvest and WHOOSH another gift. HAHA. oh man, uncontainable JOY!!!

the weather was clear, but we walked for what seemed lyk miles at siloso beach before the guys foun a perfect site to lay down the HAPPYfaceMat. ok. it was a twister mat, but it beats sharin the sand with the ants..

then fab illustrated a very crucial fact: its impt to take care of your skin under the sun! which explains why he used sunblock with cai n jas whereas the rest of us used sun tannin lotion. haha.

so the day was spent tanning, floating abt in the sea, and then joe came with 'the frisbee'. the ALMIGHTY frisbee which occupied the guys for HOURS. when the sistas couldnt take it anymore, we went to get ice cream and got to see a free show- tis woman was showering topless at the public shower. WOAH. and there was an angmoh staring str at her. OOKKK. excuse me, its a friggin crime to be doing tt lah!! well, at least she wasnt saggy.

dinner was cheap and good- hawker food from harbourfront. thanks to randy n joe for treating the foodies =) and then we chilled at randy's sis's condo, wait, i meant PALACE. its a super GLAMOUROUS condo w uber cool clubhouses w foosball tables! super zai can?!

special thanks to silvest for recommending the BOTANIC GARDENS job which is easy money, and work is play =) juz stand around and bam, 10/hr. haha good lobang!! Botanic Gardens is mosquito heaven so luckily cai n i wore long pants. as usual, we camwhored afta work w fab's cam, doing ridiculous poses. HAHA.
ended off the day with a low budget dinner and a swell Muddy Mudpie. wooh. and like fab's self-fulfilling prophecy: input mudpie, output..mudpie.

express updates. yes i did my 10km run. in 1 hr 27 mins. well, for a first timer i'm juz glad i finished it. =) all the best to fab jeff silvest dom who are doin their Real Run 10k tis sun, to kel, who signed up for suicide, i meant, hiking tmr morn at bukit timah hill, and jer, who needs desperately to pass his IPPT tmr. have faith ppl.

then project in sch on mon. clementi is REALLY TOO FAAARR. just the travelling makes me sleepy.zZz. u know what FSI stands for? And Keiska loves hiding under furniture, behind flower pots or under ur butt when u squat down. I’m suspecting she has insecurity issues, but well, she ll be safe during an earthquake. HA.

Clear shits then GHOST WHISPERER.

oo the 3rd wk of sch's over already. super fast la. learnt abt workplace skills, by lecturer Arie, who dresses like steve irwin and speaks ever so softly. but he's nice, his activities are quite refreshing =)

stayed back to study in sch with kel's project mates. ohman, it was like BDEFT networking session. haha. vincent said during lunch there was tis guy video ing us just when i was halfway thru banging the table and using EXPRESSIVE hand actions, -_-;;

and then upon kel's request, i swung into 'IMITATING' mood, doin arie, kheng, fabian,shulin,max,kel herself,sylvester. i duno why i hav tis innate habit of capturing ppl's trademark actions or expressions. yet i cant capture the essence of the lectures. today mum finally asked, what are we gonna do abt the dog. the dog. how detached.

from the very beginning i knew, it was just too good to come true. Dad says our house is too small for a BIG dog. and THICK coats need aircond. he stated hes not paying. Mum is already so stressed frm office work and housework. if at anytime im not at home, she has to handle keiska. no doubt a puppy ll bring us joy, but i dun wan keiska to become a burden to her. Rie and Lyn SAY they want, but if they cant even take care of themselves, how more to attend to the needs of a pet who cant speak? if only there were mini mini huskies, i ll take her everywhere i go.

so just like that, i lost my companion. i never even had the chance to love her. to think i actually went to get bk, to check out prices of accessories. ha, how dumb.

mainly becos instead of waking at 10, i gotta be IN SCH at 10. but at least i hav so uber many frens mrt ing with me so its not lonely =)

well, Day 1 was more of a 'HEYS! what class wer u frm?' kinda introduction, since so many of us hailed from tp. off my head - kel cai me jasmine shulin huijun ziling. for the econs and finance course. Our lecturer is an really nice santa claus kinda uncle,cept he jumps abt the slides and has his trademark DEEP coughs during lectures. maybe we should get him Woods' Peppermint.

Project! abit too fast la -_-; we barely scraped the tip of the iceberg and we have to do fieldwork so soon. and uncle santa haven print guidelines out yet. Poor jasmine sprained her ankle in lecture today! it was rather comical though but hey blessing in disguise, there was a hero that got her an icepack and there was a free ride home! haha, hurrays for the new chauffer! jasmine, get better soon! =)

Sentosa with 06s35!! beautiful skies, salty seas and a whole day of games, games, GAMES! who knew juz one ball could be so fun? of course, we had to sacrifice our perfect epidermis in exchange for sunflaky scorched red roasted faces. shoulders too. but nothing beats fun in the sun with great crazy frens =) whee!

heys all! figured my blog would be the fastest way of giving everyone a detailed explaination of why i was hospitalised, wad happened and the scoop inside an Operating Theatre. cool huh.

place: Costa Sands Pasir Ris, ObS35sians chalet, which they kindly invited me to. =)

so yes, thru the night, losta crazy stuff went on, Vodka, Baileys with ice cream (todiefor), midnight walk, illegal midnight swim, watching drunk ppl (no reference to jasper) get high and sleeping all over the place. estatic Crap =p

so fast forward to morning, the sun was barely out and i got hungry. no hangover, jus a growling tummy and i decided to dig for food. in the freezer. yes, i agree wif puay- it was BrainLESS. and some kook, i suspect daryl, put the FnN cherryde halfway on top of the freezer door and BAM, it mashed my toe when i opened the door.

it was dark, everyone was sleepin, so i juz used the carpet and applied pressure. of course it was PAINFUL but no, i didnt cry. mummy dearest taught us never to cry over stupid things.

then i heard terrence stirring, and the 1st thing he said was Fcuk. i feel like shit. haha, horrid hangover..then he noticed me writhing in a corner. u ok? what happened?

i wanted to go Yea, fine, juz a stupid bottle. but then my vision blurred and my hearing became muffled. i couldnt hear wad jer was saying. then i realised shit, it was BAD. People stared waking up and freaking out. Puay, Jer, Tom accompanied me and my ice packed toe to CGH A&E. took Xray and all. pls note that thru it all, i WAS STILL HUNGRY. poor tummy.

honestly, i didnt think one toe would require so much drama- the hospital stay, the Op, wadtheheck a BONE FRACTURE?? i am officially boycotting FnN. mayb juz cherryade.

ok, next exciting part, OPERATION!! my surgeon was a funny dude. tis is in the OT.

i could feel movement on my toe. skip tis para if u re not feeling too good..first they snipped off the extra flesh. then washed the blood away, cut all over my toe so they could extract the chipped bone bits, there was tink tink tink in the metal basin. my calcium i suppose. then he sewed up the minced ba chor to become meatball. NINE stitches. its gonna be crap when he removes it. and he put on my fake nail to cover the open wound. refer pics below.

the theatre is really like wad u see in the drama serials, 2 big flash lights, sophisicated equipment, ur bp reading, etc. kinda cool but then again, i NEVER wanna go back. urgh.

suddenly ants have decided my wooden frame for the kitchen door is a great place for nesting. and then before it rained a cockroach ran in for shelter. in MY house. it has nvr happened for the past 3 yrs. urgh.

2nd bug. dad says one of my photos is causing the com to screw up. some bug inside my file. huh? and my internet s gone mad as well, havin log in problems. and it keeps closing my MSN. so sori ppl if i die on u k.

the same road to trod, every night, fraught with dangers.

the ceaseless traffic is the least of her worries. she learnt, from young, and from brisk encounters that almost took her.

its the men. sometimes in gangs, some alone.

they stare.

we all know what they want in the back of their minds.

rich or poor, black or white.

all so sex deprived. and all too desperate.

sometimes they hold beer bottles. you never know what they ll do.

they can see her fear. she tries so hard not to tremble, so she picks up the pace.

the last alley home. the darkest one. sometimes they lurk in the dark. they stalk, and enjoy the hunt. in geylang, only the men smile.

she knows its only safe past the gates. but u can never be too sure.

*Sniff sniff, blow, sigh.* The past few days have taken their toll. One event after another, altogether a heck load of fanatical fun.

Thurs – hit the pool for 20 laps, juz in time for the lasts of my water sports, or so I thought.

Fri- Sentosa with Kat, Perry, Andy, Li Jia. The sun was fab, the water was mesmerizing and all the hot bods on the beach; what a sight for sore eyes. Katherine relieved her deprived childhood by building a sandcastle, but it somehow turned out to be a tomb, dedicated to perry, how sweet. Feel the creativity ppl. Lol. And we had the most pricey dinner of my ENTIRE life, 5 ppl, $206..??!! perry, u really thought it was buffet ar?! Nevertheless, the sentosa night scene was stunning. Moonlight, starlights, and music..it was picturesque.

Sat- couldnt swim but I couldnt let the brilliant UV go to waste, went tanning again. That’s two days in a row and lotsa premature aging for the skin. HECK!
TGIGF!! Praise God for a great event that touched hearts and strengthened souls. No doubt Daddy Lord was there, being with us. Alas, technology is the downfall of mankind, Jerio and Alvin didnt make it but met for supper.

Sun- met the two dumbos for breakfast and no, formal wear does NOT look AUNTIE ok. I had usherin wad. Then BOWLING FRIENDLY, org by TPJC. Though we didn’t clinch any top spots, we got over $100 in profits, so we splurged on Swensons dinner. WOO! It was really good catching up with the old gang and seeing new faces. Lu and Keith.. Collision course of their own worlds, it was like watching drama serial!! Yes, but very tian mi mi, haha. And Cindy, happy right? Guest star appearance!! Ahaha.

Ended off the night with Swensons supper with Jerio and Alvin. We must be mad always meeting up, all cos one kuku has to go ns, and FORCES us to entertain his remaining days. Puh. But thank you sengkang mugger for sending me back, even if u almost missed the last bus home. Hee. And you still owe me $10.

Valentines just passed, still no blue rose, juz msges. work is such a drudgery nowadays, esp since we gotta do more without pay increase. and EVERYONE is enjoying the festive spirit cept s working. 1030 to 2100. crap hours. to top it off, my room s invaded by my granma. ok nvmd. she takes over my pillow and bolster. grr. so personal. nvmd. she hogs the phone, blasts the tv and NAGGS. ok. chill.... she SOAKED her dentures in my personal MUG. unforgivable.

i need to get out of the house but not for work. i need to escape. i need a shield, a shelter and company that allows me to stay out late. wait a minute, that in short is EMERGENCY BOYFRIEND NEEDED. dang, muz follow wendy and kat offer pay by hr. urghs.

From tmr, i will officially be out of job. well, TEMPORARILY. mersine got their full timers and now, its zi shen nan bao for me..so ive already sent out resumes and filled the relief teacher form, while askin kat to check out her dentist job and wendy to check the customer service one.

YEAR of the PIG bodes well for some, average for others. i dont believe that kind of prediction. No, my destiny is for me to create, my fate is within my own grasp. so is yours. so forget the buying of pig ornaments, or avoidin certain inauspiscious stuff, the only thing that will kill u is a worrisome heart.

tpBowlingteam of 06 just got back frm bowling trials for a new batch of j1s. the 07 batch.

2 yrs back, i was the j1. two yrs back i rmb cheryl bock tellin me 'cindy trashed you'. well miss bock, she trashed you too.

now cindy and i are still laughing abt the assets tat we have and she lacks. so im drenched with stinky bowling oil smell. saw all my jnrs today, as well as cindy joel and lionel. wads tis abt lionels new job as a beer promoter?! anyway i really miss the times spent crapping on the lanes, from the most drastic like watching them beat up joel, suaning cheej to the smallest things lyk givin fives. i miss everything.

cept the tcher ic =x and that is one general consensus.

we need another outing. someone volunteer their house? but must wait for our ex-capt to come down from the mountain..mt NS. lol.

Aloha! Loyang, to be exact. 05S34. we lived the simple life. We did it tons better than paris and nic. Three cheers to mr yong who paid for the chalet For everyone that came and survived, u deserve a pat on the back. Basically, the first day was spent bed choppe ing, Ahole taidi ing, and the BBQ. Joke of the day was seeing how the pampered kids of the klaz try to operate a microwave, boil water, cook bbq food on a dying fire. Greatest achievement award goes to ahCai, cos she learned how to poke sausauges with satay stix. Claps. Ok so half of the dinner food was microwave cooked. Who cares, it was drizzling and it still tasted FAB. Plus its assured u wont get diarrhoea after tt. NEWS: next time forget barcardi. Go for Nite. It tastes MUCH better. and the hearts to hearts at night. Jer, yanx, shun, cai, puay, me and Alvin = 1 room 4 beds = 1 mummfied Alvin. LOL. Puay and yanx, is it so diff to share a bed wif a fellow sister?! And Alvin, I told u there was a whole valley of space between us, must u sleep in that mummy coffin pose?! But honestly, Alvin is an endangered species, and puay confessed after half a bottle. Woo! But well, we knew it all along.

Survivor alohaloyang day 2 was super slack. claire shud haf been there. Never in my life have I spent half a day completely rottin. It was just watching tv, play mahjong, seeing black faces at the mj table, go back to watching tv. Then when I finally couldn’t take it, shun and I ventured back to whitesands to stock up supplies and ammunition. 2nd night was homey night. Had spaghetti dinner at the round table. Cosily heartwarming aint it. Sniff. then Claud, chelle and me went moon tanning but the pool water was freezing! Took rather cool shots esp of chelle climbing the ‘pls do not climb’ rocks. Haha. And mr Yongs surprise visit! hurray! He actually made it! 2nd night of talking was even more intriguing. All the secrets, beginnings and ends, dreamboats, heartthrobs and heart wrenchers, shocking truths and x rated stuffs that we all have to solemnly being to the grave. =x

Though there were times when I wanted to kill some of you, many times actually, but underneath it all, I do LOVE you all. 05S34. there u have it, my confession.
