Merry CHRISTmas one and all!! Once again, the beautiful season of givin is here. Honestly, I rather liked channel 5’s A Blessed Christmas cos its focus was right, it heavily emphasized on the birth of a boy child that would one day save us all. The miraculous birth of Christ. =) and folks, sad to burst the bubble but santa claus is juz some gimmick to make people gear towards the receiving instead of giving and mainly to distract us from remembering what truly is worth celebrating. Its not the hohoho gifts or reindeers (which is actually animal abuse) nor the candies, but the gift of grace, of redemption and of eternal life in Christ.
Genting was brr..cold. like ur pee is even warmer than the waters running frm the taps. Ok, gross connotation, but its that bad. The outdoor theme park was closed cos of the strong winds so we stuck to indoors. And a special note to Cindy, Carlynne did go for the haunted house. The one u said was very scary, the one whereby u ran and fell in. and she says its BORING and utterly FAKE..haha. Gentin. Loved the scenery, the mist, the rides, the shops!! but hated the temperature.
Watched Sweet Home Alabama last nite. That show was really sweet. What happens when lightning strikes sand? The immense heat actually melts the sand so it becomes something like molten glass..woah. but life is never like the shows. Who actually finds their soul mates upon that first kiss? Haha. Movie gimmick, sweet but cliché. I like Alabama in that show, they have a dog cemetery. Awww. Btw, the main guy is called Jared in that show. Landon might possibly have a brother..ok michelyn, I told u abt Gem and Fawn. Everyone, those names are MINE. No stealing.
Crushes, puppy love, all that stuff..ha. What I need.. is an angel. Okok, no poem too. Heres the meanings of my kids names.
Landon: Grassy land, fields. Nature. alrite, tis kids reflects my honor and respect to nature.
Jared: Down to Earth. I like that.Carmen: Song, true and warm. =p

Unwittingly, we have come into the first 2 wks of December.. freakin fast huh? So that means 2 wks left with a mountain of homework to complete.. Whatever happened to that resolution at the start of the hols to finish them before Christmas..?
The most recent event was prob the Frutti-tella camp. Kids from charis daycare flooded our church and we foolishly volunteered our services.. ok, it wasn THAT bad cept I m nursing a sore throat but also carrying a hartful of thanks. I m grateful to the Lord for carryin me through, esp that night when mum and I quarreled abt spending too much time out instead of wif the family. I m thankful for carrie by my side, silent (for once) while I choked in tears and sobbed away..she knew I cried, and she also knew I hate letting ppl know..-_-;; eh so thanks, for takin the towel and stuff. Btw she juz came back frm msia like 5 mins ago so yeah! I think she bought some make up stuff ie mascara.. O_Q;; funny she s interested in makeup. I only did for prom.. I believe in my ALL NATURAL being. Its God s gift, so Thank You!!
Going Genting next wk.. wonderin how itd be like. Sad, I ve never been to many places, cept Thailand & msia. And Europe but I was way young to rmb anything then. Mum thinks Genting would be great, something abt the madness of the themepark. Honestly, I m not a fan of these life riskin shits. And Cindy recommends the Haunted House...ARE U MAD?? Hello, last time we watched corpse bride I held onto carlynne s hand, and I screamed. Crap it was so pai she and mah lu fying.. so I m goin to Genting mainly to bai swee for photo takin. Yet somehow, I think I d force myself to go for life riskin shit rides cos mum wud URGE us to TRY. Note: urge means force or threaten, and try simply equals compulsory. She has a wild youth she hasnt been able to realize and wants us to do it for her. Just llike how she commented that NAVEL PIERCING looked GOOD. Woah. My MOTHER. Hmm.
Okok, time to end, such a long post. No poem today cos this is kel s 5 random facts/ things that she passed to me.1)I just bowled 8 games. Felt a lil dizzy after. Maybe cos I din have lunch..
2)hey ppl, dont be shocked. Carmen cooks. Like I just did the stir fried sotong before bloggin. =)
3)I cut my hair. Yeah! I cant tie it now but who cares. Yup it IS NATURALLY brown and wavy, not permed not dyed. I dun haf that kinda money.
4)I talk to my pets. But I think other ppl do too, cept I talk not only to Silver my schnauzer but also Mudpie, my guinea pig. Its called love.
5)last one..hm..i think nice prominent collarbones make ppl look good. Which explains why I can pull off low necklines. HAHA..note: its appreciating feminity, not being bimbotic.
ppl to do this 5 random facts thing are Xiaohui, Marcus, Andy, Mark, Est. =)
but then again, I think the more the merrier, so why not? Lyd, Zhenghong, Barney (if I can find ur blog..)

Work. Fascinating how people rush to earn as much in as little time possible. Rat race is but an understatement. From 1-4 Dec, Suntec Convention Centre was like a 3rd home. Instead of wakin up at 11, we all had to be there by 11. urgh. Sleep was reduced by 30% times of 4 days.
But there are always two sides, I met ppl from all walks of life, the good, bad, ugly, smelly, etc.. i have seen pure ugliness of Singaporeans and experienced care & concern frm utter strangers, have learnt how lies surround the business world and how there is a thin line that separates the white and black. Sometimes that line is fuzzy, we never know for sure if anything is really good or evil, the same way we cant judge people by what they do. First impressions dont meant anything. A person s character shows over time. This past four days taught me a lot. And I am proud to say I survived it all. Praise be unto the Lord for He was my strength and shield. Life s irony is that we live too fast,
Before we know its all the past.
Like a snowflake- its beauty felt,
A blink of eye the splendor melts.
Step back and catch a much-needed breath,
Reflect upon this birth to deathWhere do all our beliefs lie
A dead set world, dare you defy?
